Student and teaching staff exchange in the CEEPUS programme takes place primarily within institutional networks. The networks are grouped according to broad thematic areas and are geared towards exploring a specific area of common interest for all participants. The network consists of at least three higher education institutions from at least three CEEPUS member states, with one institution as a network coordinator. In practice, the number of network members is much higher, which enables cooperation with a larger number of partner institutions.
How can I search CEEPUS networks and check which network a particular higher education institution participates in?
A list of existing networks by academic year can be found on the CEEPUS website, at www.ceepus.info, in the Find section. When you select an academic year and a participating country, a list of the country‘s higher education institutions (universities and colleges) will appear.
When you click on the institution itself, all the networks in which it participates will be listed. Then, by clicking on the individual network, you will find a description of the network and the information about its coordinator and partners.
The description also provides information about who exactly participates in that network within the university or college in this description (in particular, these are mainly faculties and, most often, certain departments within them). In addition, lists of networks in which particular higher education institutions participate in the current academic year are available on the institution‘s website.
