ERASMUS+
Erasmus+ is a European Union programme providing financial support for cooperation projects in the following three fields: education and training, youth and sport.
The Erasmus+ programme covers the period from 2021 to 2027. The total budget allocated for the whole period is 26 billion Euros.
Within Key Action 1 (KA1), several opportunities are available for student mobility, such as international credit mobility and student exchange or full master or doctoral studies within the Erasmus Mundus joint master programmes.
CEEPUS
CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a Central European student and academic staff exchange programme. This programme provides student and staff mobility opportunities and focuses on improving education at higher education institutions. CEEPUS offers exchanges in the form of credit mobility, research visits, teaching provision and the so-called summer schools.
CEEPUS member states are: Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and the Czech Republic.
The duration of mobility is directly related to the type and category of the mobility for which the candidate is applying. In general, CEEPUS allows longer stays of one or two semesters for students in credit mobility, but also short-term stays of up to three months, which are intended for conducting research and writing a master’s or a doctoral thesis and the so-called short-term excursions such as winter and summer schools (lasting up to 6 days).
For more information, please visit our CEEPUS web page.
