SEMINARS

The Foundation Tempus organises seminars for teachers and professional associates in schools and preschools for the purpose of professional development in various fields. Some of the seminars have been accredited by the Office for the Improvement of Education (OIE).

Career guidance and counselling

The national EUROGUIDANCE centre under the Foundation Tempus organises two types of seminars for those interested in career guidance and counselling: “Career guidance and counselling in secondary schools”, accredited at the Office for the Improvement of Education under number 47 in the professional development of teachers and professional associates programme catalogue for the school years 2016/17 and 2017/18 and the seminar “Improving the quality of career guidance in secondary schools: efficient work planning of the career guidance and counselling school team”.

Career guidance and counselling in secondary schools” is a seminar designed primarily for teachers with little experience in career guidance and counselling. In addition to an introduction to the concept of career guidance and counselling, participants can learn more about useful resources in this area for teachers and students at national and European levels.

The seminar “Improving the quality of career guidance in secondary schools: efficient work planning of the career guidance and counselling school team” is designed for teachers who already implement career guidance and counselling activities and participate in and/or coordinate the work of a career guidance and counselling school team. Considering that each school is specific in terms of its participants and available resources, a large part of the seminar is dedicated to the creation of options for the team’s work in relation to the school’s characteristics.

eTwinning

For teachers interested in the European network for cooperation of schools and preschools, eTwinning, the Foundation Tempus organises two accredited seminars: eTwinning for beginners – first steps (number 373 in the OIE catalogue) and Towards quality eTwinning projects for the improvement of ICT use in teaching (number 393 in the OIE catalogue).

The seminar eTwinning for beginners – first steps is aimed at increasing the level of digital competences of staff in education institutions who work with school and preschool children, improvement of the teaching quality through the use of ICT tools in work with students and children, and improvement of students’ cross-curricular competences. The seminar is designed for teachers who do not have a lot of experience with the eTwinning portal.

The seminar Towards quality eTwinning projects for the improvement of ICT use in teaching is intended for teachers who are registered and active members of the eTwinning portal. The goal of the seminar is to improve the quality of existing eTwinning projects for better use of ICT in teaching and strengthening digital and language competences of teachers and students.

In addition to these, the Foundation organises international contact seminars for users of certain parts of the programme and networks, such as:

  • HeduFair – contact seminar for higher education institutions,
  • eTwinning contact seminar,
  • Contact seminar in the field of vocational education and training – VET contact seminar,
  • Euroguidance cross-border seminar on career guidance.

The goal of the contact seminar is to gather participants who take part in the Erasmus+ Programme across Europe and enable them to establish contacts and exchange experience and good practices. In addition, international contact seminars provide participants from Serbia with an opportunity to network with their colleagues from abroad and find partners for future projects.

All seminars organised by the Foundation Tempus are free of charge. Participants are required to fill in the registration form and are given an attendance certificate at the end of seminar.
