The final conference of the PROFFORMANCE project, held on 16 June 2022 in a hybrid format, gathered over 180 participants – teachers, experts, leaders in higher education and policy decision-makers from around 20 countries.
The conference was organized as the final event of the project PROFFORMANCE ─ Assessment Tool and Incentive Systems for Developing Higher Education Teachers’ Performance, which aim was to support the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning at higher education institutions in the European Higher Education Area, by developing tools for evaluating the performance of teachers and incentive systems, as well as by collecting and sharing examples of good practices.
Representatives of six PROFFORMANCE consortium partners – ministries, professional organizations, and Erasmus+ NAs – presented how their national teaching and learning strategies relate to European policies and how the project contributed to the achievement of their national higher education goals.
At the conference, Assessment Tool for higher education teachers’ performance was presented and the PROFFORMANCE Teaching Excellence Database was launched as main PROFFORMANCE project results. Furthermore, prizes were awarded to the participants of the International Higher Education Teacher Award 2021/22. One of the prestigious awards was given to the team of the University of Niš.
The upcoming activities of the PROFFORMANCE project continuation (PROFFORMANCE+), which will be implemented in the period from 2022 to 2025, were also presented at the conference.
The event was organized by the Tempus Foundation from Hungary in partnership with the Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology, with the cooperation of partner institutions (from Austria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Croatia and Serbia, where the Foundation Tempus is a partner institution) and associated partners.
